Last week, all students made a decoration for our upcoming International Day. They designed four heart shapes with their country flag, colors, and/or symbols and put them together to form a fish.
We're still deciding the heading. Suggestions welcome!
"We All Swim Together: One school, Many Cultures" is one option.
Here are some photos of Kindergarteners making their fish.

First graders also received their I KNOW HERE bookmarks from our partners in South Burlington, Vermont. The Vermont students each sent a drawing of a place they know well and wrote about it on the back of the bookmark. We did our bookmarks with oil pastels with our early childhood art teacher.
