This week was a short one due to Fall Break and the All Saint's holiday. Classes coming to the library this week went to the book fair!
The Usborne fair was a huge success. In fact, we're still getting orders for titles, and we will send home an additional flyer for those parents who weren't able to attend the fair. We can take orders through Friday, November 10th.
AISB earns free Usborne books according to the amount sold at the fair. So far, we have earned over $1,000.00 in free books! Teachers created "wish lists" of books that will support their units: The Middle Ages, Rocks and Minerals, Weather, Insects, Phonics practice, and Atlases were some popular topics wished for (and now received!)
